In less than two weeks, the New York Travel Festival will return! I’m very excited to attend again this year again. This time, I’ll be joining as a speaker as part of the Digital Storytelling: New Strategies for the Future of Travel panel in partnership with Travel+SocialGood on April 16.
The New York Travel Festival (NY Trav Fest) will take place in Brooklyn from April 14-17, 2016. Now in its fourth year, the NY Trav Fest consists of daily programming catering to savvy travelers and industry professionals.

The festival opens on Thursday, April 14, at Rocco’s Tacos with an industry-only track presenting the latest tools for press relations and marketing strategies. On Friday, April 15, the festival’s 2nd Annual Travel Unity Summit (in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams) will focus on economic development through tourism at Brooklyn Borough Hall.
Over the weekend of April 16-17, the festival moves to St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, with a two-day program encompassing expert panels and presentations on digital marketing, emerging markets, entrepreneurship, best uses of media, creating diversity, and sustainability in the tourism industry, and more, as well as performances, networking events and immersive exhibits from partners in NYC and around the world.
