This upcoming Thursday, November 13, 2014, I’m starting #CultureTravChat. I’ve always been interested in hearing how travelers deal with cultural differences (and how they learn from other cultures) and what helps them bridge any ‘cultural gaps’ during their travels.
In this Twitter chat, I hope to hear from others about the very things that travel can teach us. Every week, we’ll discuss topics including: ways we can defeat stereotypes, how humor connects us, ways to step out of (travel) comfort zones, overcoming language barriers, trying new foods, and looking at cultural differences.
The first chat will focus on “Travel (Life) Lessons.” Please join us on Thursday (every week) from 7:30 – 8:00 am ET.
You can participate in, and follow the chat, by using hashtag, #CultureTravChat.
Sounds great – good theme. You should register with http://www.travelogx.com/chat//+7 to publicise your twitterchat and the weekly topics to get greater engagement
Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder and great suggestion, Roxanne! 🙂 Hope to see you there, too!
